The Nike Sport Research Lab used a combination of mechanical, biomechanical and perception testing to develop the Air Max Dn.
While Air has traditionally been contained within a solitary Air unit, Nike product creation experts pushed the boundaries for a breakthrough innovation that provides a brand-new, smooth and Dynamic Air experience and sensation.
A thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) shank arch clip provides structure and support around the midfoot, and a TPU heel counter supports the Achilles.
The upper uses a premium multi-layer construction with three layers of soft mesh and a perforated print that provides breathability and texture.
Injected Phylon foam surrounds the Air unit, providing soft, plush comfort underfoot, while a rubber outsole wraps around the heel to provide traction and durability.
